Translators generally work into their native language, as that’s how they guarantee the best quality. Therefore, with some exceptions, I only translate into Italian, as I understand all its nuances and can make accurate linguistic choices that sound good to Italian ears.

MTPE (Machine Translation Post Editing)
Machine translation has made great steps forward especially with the contribution of Artificial Intelligence and the Neural Method.
MTPE may be the future of translation, at least in certain fields which don’t require human creativity.
MTPE can be Full (output equivalent to a human translation) or Light (translating the content literally, word for word).
If you need your machine translated text to sound like a human translation or just to be consistent with the content of the source text, I can help you with that.
Revision
Want to be sure your text is correct, readable and sounds good to an Italian audience? I can help.
Reviewing isn’t just a final read through of the translation, but includes the following steps:
- Initial reading of source and target text

Machines have been assisting human beings for hundreds of years… and translation is no different! The tools I use help me guarantee the quality of the final text, speed up the workflow and calculate the words that really need to be translated to offer you a better price.
For example, if you already have a translation memory used for a previous project, that will be helpful for keeping terminology consistent without wasting time translating something you already translated in the past!
My favourite translation tool is SDL Trados Studio 2021, but I’ve also used other tools like MemoQ, Memsource, Across and custom translation platforms. I’m always happy to try new tools should you require.
